Moving Website from
WordPress to Squarespace

Podcast Website Migration

I led the CMS platform migration for the content-rich Great Pop Culture Debate podcast’s website, transforming their digital presence. The project involved a comprehensive reorganization of blogs and episodes, streamlining content to enhance SEO, and optimizing pages for improved usability. Key elements included:

  • Developing a strategy for tags and categories across blogs, events, panelists, and episode pages

  • Increasing cross-site linking opportunities through consistent CTAs and automating manual maintenance tasks

  • Simplifying the platform by migrating from WordPress to Squarespace, reducing unnecessary complexity

The content reorganization and migration effort significantly boosted user engagement, doubling time on site in just three months. The site now supports expansion into new topics and categories and has seen a 40% increase in content since launch, reflecting its enhanced capacity and usability.
